Xplore Mining was established as a Proprietary Limited company in July 2011 and has established business entities in selected African countries.
The company has assembled a professional and highly committed team of managers and geologists located in Perth and Zimbabwe that is chaired by leading businessman Bryan Hughes.
Xplore Mining runs a small team of experienced geologists, headed by Surrender Ncube, who brings more than 30 years’ experience to the company. For seven years Surrender was the Chief Minerals Development Officer for the Zimbabwe Ministry of Mines and for six years was the principal mine geologist for the Zimbabwe Geological Survey. More recently Surrender was the Geologist / Geotechnical Officer for Palabora Mining a subsidiary of Rio Tinto PLC.
